-David Choi quoted this in his message:
βIt is a serious thing to live in a society of possible gods and goddesses, to remember that the dullest most uninteresting person you can talk to may one day be a creature which, if you saw it now, you would be strongly tempted to worship, or else a horror and a corruption such as you now meet, if at all, only in a nightmare...There are no ordinary people. You have never talked to a mere mortal. Nations, cultures, arts, civilizations - these are mortal, and their life is to ours as the life of a gnat. But it is immortals whom we joke with, work with, marry, snub, and exploit - immortal horrors or everlasting splendors.β β C.S. Lewis, The Weight of Glory What is C.S. Lewis' main point? How does it relate to evangeli sm? -Read Matthew 24:14. What does this verse show about God's heart and plan for this world? -If everyone in this room committed to discipling one new person for Christ every year and taught that person to also do the same. What would happen in 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? 30 years? -How does the gospel motivate you to share the gospel? -We are supposed to be the light and salt of the world. When you are with your friends, do you act like a light and salt? Are you a strong influence on others or are others a strong influence on you?
